In the podcast, we talk about realizations encountered while reading and interpreting tanka, as well as our personal perspective on the difficulties of interpreting tanka due to the differences between the Japanese and English languages.

We have tried to include an explanation for each of the poems we have shared, including a brief historical background, along with our personal interpretations and impressions.

We think the wisdom of the past can be part of our daily lives, not just an academic study. How can we achieve this besides posting to social media? We decided to make something people can use in real life and not just passively consume on the internet.
